hard work

all done, the bedroom make over has begun, today i hoovered, scrubbed and washed down the entire room until it sparkled, then i moved all the furniture around, after only a slight panic as to whether everything would fit were i had planned it to go and it does.......................just LOL the chair will have to go somewhere other than were i had planned as i wouldn't be able to open the door and i've ordered some storage boxes and a really thin book case to display my treasures on it today, just need some more pretty things to arrive now and i can get it all sorted :)

ooh it's going to be gorgeous

when all the hard work is finished, have decided to give my bedroom a make over so have spent the last couple of days tracking down purple bedding and accessories, today i've added a new rug and arm chair to the mix as well as some pretty cushions, beaded tie backs for the old curtains and a lovely mirror, i now want something to go on my bedside table, i'm fancying an altered birdcage and some fairy lights with maybe a nice canvas on the main wall :) can't wait for it all to come now but so not looking forward to the cleaning up and scrubbing the place to within an inch of it's life, that's this weekend sorted then LOL

making the most

of the last day of my christmas holidays includes lots of reading, maybe a wee spend somewhere and a bit of scrapping too LOL

santa's been

we got lot's of lovely pressies and apart from sneezing a lot we're having the usual christmas day, watching shite and eating crap, will add some alcohol to the mix in an hour or so then i'll settle in for the night of dr who and then god knows what else LOL might have to start the harry potter marathon :)

merry christmas everyone :)

i'm dreaming of a ...................

purple christmas LOL, i cut and dyed my hair today, unfortunately i didn't read the bit on the packet that said not suitable for more than 50% grey LOL so i've ended up a very bright shade of purple because i have so much grey in my hair now LOL never mind i actually really like it and the greys have gone away :)

it's tuesday i'm in love

with my new birthday present, an ipad2 :) it works and tha't about it cos dad whipped it off me to wrap up for january, so not fair as i've paid for half of it, i reckon i should be able to play with half of it LOL i put this to him so he gave me the box LOL

yesterday

i had my first mince pie ever LOL yup i have never tasted a mince pie because i thought i didn't like them, you see my mam and dad both didn't like them so i just sort of assumed i didn't like them either LOL but we had mince pies for tea after our xmas lunch at work yesterday and the kids weren't sure of them, we tell them if they don't like the look of something they should try it by having a sniff, a lick and a little mousy nibble LOL so they did and so did i and you know what, it was really nice LOL looks like i'll be putting mince pies on the asda shop next week LOL
